Maria Luisa V. Alvendia

With over 25 years of experience , Maria has managed procurement teams in different industries such as automotive, telecommunications, media , IT and  BPO in the North America and Asia regions.   Her accomplishments include creation of procurement shared services teams, implementation of enterprise resource systems and strategic negotiations with major vendor partners for the group. Maria was recently positioned as Chief of Staff to the Chief Corporate Services Officer of the PLDT Group, with Supply Chain Management as one of the 9 groups under CCSO and as one of her  areas of  responsibility.  Part of her task is continued oversight of the procurement functions for the Group. Her critical role is to enable the Chief Corporate Services Officer to work most effectively and fulfill commitments to the Group’s partners, clients and customers.  Her role requires a combination of focus and flexibility towards achieving the organization’s objectives in the most effective and efficient manner.
