For over 30 years, she has been part of the Nestlé family, leading diverse teams in different functions around the Globe. Through her teams and with Stakeholders, she works to create shared value for the organisation, people, communities and the planet. It is important for her to bring high quality nutritious products to delight consumers while ensuring goods and services are responsibly and ethically sourced throughout the supply chain. Before joining Nestle she taught physics in a secondary school in the UK. During her time at Nestlé, she has held various roles in Industrial Performance and Procurement working in New Zealand, Hong Kong, Korea, Latin America, USA and Europe. Leading a strategic sourcing procurement team, she established a strong supplier relationship management, driving significant benefits together with vendors. As Global Category Lead for Processed Ingredients, based in Switzerland, she transformed categories from being managed by buyers in the countries to regional or global teams. Prior to her current role, she served as Head of Procurement for the Nestlé Professional Food Service and Retail Beverage Businesses in Nestle USA. Nothing is possible without a strong team and she counts herself fortunate to be surrounded by people rich with varied experiences and perspectives.
