Anfred Cheong

Anfred Cheong is a senior procurement executive with over two decades of leadership across Fortune Global 500 companies in Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services, and Technology. Based in Singapore, he has held regional and area-level procurement leadership roles at AstraZeneca, Sanofi, GlaxoSmithKline, Deutsche Bank, and Hewlett-Packard — spanning Asia Pacific markets. Most recently as Head of Procurement for AstraZeneca's Asia Area and ANZ, he led end-to-end procurement operations, third-party risk governance, and Source-to-Contract transformation across the region — consistently exceeding cost optimisation targets and generating measurable working capital improvement through supplier and contract lifecycle management. His broader career spans direct and indirect categories, operating model design, supplier risk governance, and ESG integration including Scope 3, EcoVadis, and SBTi frameworks. He brings hands-on experience with AI and digital enablement in procurement — including analytics frameworks, TPRM governance platforms, and digital marketplace implementation across complex, multi-country environments. Anfred is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS).
