Bernadette is in charge of Takeda’s procurement for Emerging Markets – responsible for the strategic development and direction of procurement in the Emerging Markets (LATAM, Russia/CIS, NEMEA, APAC, Greater China) in alignment with all business objectives and P&L responsibility. Leading a cross-functional/ multi-national, value delivery focused procurement team across several regions.

Defining and leading the deployment of global and regional initiatives, driving process efficiency's & cost-effectiveness, quality and compliance in close collaboration with key stakeholders focusing on value delivery and capability building.

In 2011, she was relocated to Singapore to head procurement in Asia-Pacific for Roche Diagnostics & Pharmaceutical. Building a best-in-class procurement team and being accountable for the procurement strategy in all APAC markets emphasizing on processes, systems and compliance to optimize value-add. Innovate and implement procurement processes that support operational excellence, commodity group management, supply information management, strategic sourcing and risk management of all indirect materials and services.
