Bess Ng

Dr. Bess Ng is an Associate Principal with the Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business in Singapore. Her direct roles include market development and client engagement activities in driving the various aspects of sustainability business services, including climate target setting and sustainability strategy design and development, decarbonization roadmapping, implementation and energy management solutioning architecture. She also has a keen interest to advance new business transformation models for enterprises to fuel momentum and growth opportunities along their net-zero journeys. Bess has over 12 years of professional experience in driving technology innovation, industry transformation and sustainable development. Her direct project experiences include greenfield smart city blueprint planning, advanced manufacturing technology roadmapping and supply-chains re-alignment, energy market regulatory analysis, techno-economic feasibility of grid-level solar-storage projects and IoT solutioning implementation in the advanced clean energy, automotive, mobility and real estate sectors in the US, Singapore, China and ASEAN-5. She has participated in international and local standardization initiatives by the International Electrotechnical Commission and Enterprise Singapore on relevant smart grid and smart nation standards. She is a Green Mark Accredited Profession in Facility Management (Building and Construction Authority, Singapore) and is a passionate supporter of the start-up eco-system in energy and climate-tech for ASEAN
