Charles Tan

Charles has more than 11 years of Procurement experience, with roles handling Category Management, Planning and Report, and Systems and Processes. From the early years of setting up and managing chemicals global framework agreements, he had delivered savings for seemingly mature products as well as managed out difficult supply relationships where there were mismatches between the supply chain and business demand. He had also worked with global teams in the Oil & Gas industry, where he influenced and supported joint venture assets in Brunei, Oman, India, etc, and internal procurement teams to deliver on procurement opportunities and best practices. His current focus in PSA includes Category Management development, Market Intelligence, Procurement systems and Data Analytics, as well as supporting the local delivery of the sustainable procurement framework. His passion remains in the development of Procurement Competencies as Procurement is reliant on our People.
