Chee Kin heads the Group Procurement function of Singapore Post. In this capacity, Chee Kin is responsible for the setting, supporting and maintaining the adoption of processes, standards, and technologies that enable the procurement of indirect goods and services for the group. Following the transformation of the procurement function into a category-driven and value-adding organization, Chee Kin is evolving the function to support the reporting of Scope 3 emissions, and eventually engaging suppliers to support the ESG objectives of Singapore Post. Chee Kin had over 20 years' experience in the procurement function, when he implemented and rolled-out the Corporate Procurement strategy of Deutsche Post in Asia-Pacific. He established the regional procurement network and implemented the corporate procedures and enablers for the function. From the regional role, Chee Kin went on to take up a global role to manage the procurement support function of Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL). This covered the continuing development and harmonization of policies and guidelines, organization standards and the IT-enabled platforms that support purchasing, sourcing, and data analytics.
