Jayesh Joshi is a Procurement and Supply Chain Board Adviser, advising global multinationals and strategy firms such as McKinsey, Bain and BCG, on commercial transformation. Before being Chief Procurement Officer at Falcon Group, he was Global Vice President, Procurement for BT, leading 200 FTE across 30 countries. Mr Joshi has held leadership roles (including European Managing Director, Chief Procurement Officer) across multiple industries and was previously Regional Procurement Director for Johnson & Johnson, across Asia-Pacific. Prior to this, he was Managing Director for Zon Associates, UK, an award-winning transformation consultancy, holding contracts with leading private and public sector clients including Capita, Barclays, Vodafone, Leicester City, Oldham Council/Mouchel and Stoke City, where he led negotiations on one of the largest UK outsourcing programs for job growth and regeneration - £375m, affecting 900 jobs. Mr. Joshi has led several commercial transformation programmes which have been widely reported in TV & Press, including the BBC and Supply Management. Having experience in high growth start-ups and blue-chip multinationals, and the Private and Public sector, Mr Joshi believes Procurement can be a force for good, and builds enabling functions that seek to expand beyond traditional deliverables and innovate, to positively impact stakeholders and society. He has a genuine passion for talent development and innovation, and has created Training and Development schemes in several roles, acts as a mentor to young entrepreneurs and speaks to graduates about procurement as a profession. He helped create an ecosystem in Asia for ‘Enable’, a charitable foundation that makes 3D printed hands for people who are missing fingers through accidents or birth defects. He is also the founder & ex-chair of the APAC CPO Forum, a best practice / networking group for CPOs from numerous industries including banking, manufacturing, oil & gas, healthcare, luxury goods and technology. Mr Joshi is an honorary Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply, and a Chartered Board Director.
