Kai Yang has 20+ years of experience in finance and procurement. He is currently the Regional Head of Indirect Procurement for AkzoNobel, transforming the indirect organization from decentralised site-based buyer approach to a professional procurement organization, focusing on delivering value beyond savings with solid strategic sourcing and category management. Before joining AkzoNobel, he was with Rio Tinto for more than seven years in a number of different procurement, shared services and corporate real estate roles -  leading a number of global indirect procurement categories, running innovation and service management for finance and HR shared services and was also accountable for all matters relating to company’s corporate real estate: strategy, transactions, workplace development and management
