Mr. Mahbub is an experienced Supply Chain Management professional worked in different role & different industries almost 30 years, with extensive knowledge and core expertise in procurement and contract management. He also has experience in strategic sourcing, category management, stakeholder management, outsourcing service procurement, negotiation and dispute resolution.

In his current role, working alongside management team of City Bank, Mr. Mahbub lead the team to conceives and implement long terms strategy, transformation and governance framework to enhance operational efficiency and generate cost savings/ value. Prior to joining City bank in 2019 he worked at Robi Axiata Limited a cellular phone operator operating in Bangladesh different roll of SCM almost 14 years. He also worked in an International NGO CARE Bangladesh and Lenny Fashions Limited a subsidiary of Must Garments Corporation (HK) Limited in different Job role.

He is an adjunct faculty of Brac University for Supply chain management related courses. Also conducted training & workshop as resource person.

Mr. Mahbub is a certified Supply Chain Professional by ITC Geneva and CIPS UK. He holds a Diploma in International Purchasing & supply (IPSCM) from ITC Geneva and a professional diploma from CIPS UK where he was awarded full membership status MCIPS and a fellowship 'FCIPS'

He voluntarily served as CIPS Congress Member, represent the Asia Region from 1 November 2018 to 31 October 2021. He completed the post-graduate degree (Masters in Commerce) in Accounting from department of Accounting & Information System, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
