Martin Schreiner

Martin has 20 years of experience in global supply chain management.  He has a research focused on the role of purchasing and supply management in high-tech manufacturing environments in particular the application of the theory of constraints for organizational change.

Martin currently holds the position of a Senior Director of Purchasing and Supply Management at Vishay Semiconductors and has in his professional career Martin managed several key functions in global environments such as global production planning and order scheduling, development and management of a centralized purchasing and supply management organization in the Philippines serving production facilities in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Malaysia, Philippines and China, installing and leading a Supplier Management organization, managing and developing the global supplier base for direct production materials, establishment of industrial engineering in the Philippines and Germany. In addition, Martin has managed several global SAP projects in the area of SCM, PP, MM as well as e-procurement.
