Mathias Puetz

Mathias Puetz is Vice President Purchasing & Supplier Management Asia Pacific at Schaeffler, located in Singapore.

He joined Schaeffler, a leading global supplier for the automotive and industrial sectors, in 2009 as a coop-student in Industrial Engineering. Since then Mathias has held a variety of roles in project- and category purchasing working on projects in the US, China and Europe. Most recently, he was in charge of Automotive Purchasing for Schaeffler Greater China based in Shanghai, China. Mathias was appointed Vice President Purchasing & Supplier Management Asia Pacific in October 2019 and is responsible together with his teams in Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore for all purchasing related tasks for Schaeffler’s operations in Asia Pacific as well as export business out of the region.
