Nienke (Nina) Benders is a head of Partnerships at givvable, the automated supplier diligence platform helping procurement teams go beyond the questionnaire to verify, track, and engage suppliers on ESG. She brings over 10 years of experience building cross-border partnerships across Asia; from fintech and climate tech to maritime and SaaS; and has a track record of turning complex supplier ecosystems into scalable, trust-based relationships. Nina is passionate about making supplier sustainability practical, not performative; and about equipping procurement leaders with the tools and data to drive real supply chain impact. Besides givvable, Nina has held leadership roles across Europe and Asia, including as founder of BrightWise Asia, General Manager at Bakker Marine Electric (Pon holding) in China and founder of Venture IQ Shanghai. Beyond her work, Nina is a TEDx speaker, a Terra.do Climate Fellow, facilitates Climate Fresk and Biodiversity Collage workshops, mentors Climate Tech start-ups and is an Angel investor. She holds master's degrees in Finance and Business Information Management from Bocconi University and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
