Penny Chong

Penny is the leading the APAC procurement team in supporting the procurement activities for the Asia Pacific region in SWIFT, a global member-owned cooperative and the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services. She has more than 15 years of experience in various industries from hospitality, IT and financial services. 

Prior to SWIFT, Penny was in the Maybank Group for 6.5 years, which she spent 4.5 years in building and heading the procurement organization in the investment group of the bank, Maybank Kim Eng. Penny was also one of the pioneer in the Hewlett-Packard Malaysia Procurement Shared Services Hub, focused on the procurement support in the APAC region.
