Sunil Shankar is the Director - Global Indirect sourcing for Corporate & Professional services for Mondelēz International, one of the largest snack companies in the world with renowned brands like Cadbury, Oreo, Toblerone and others. In his current responsibility he oversees a large global sourcing team responsible for implementing category strategies and partnering with all functions across the business to accelerate value creation from external partnerships. Sunil has more than 15 years of procurement experience in the CPG sector having served multiple leadership roles across procurement within local, regional and global organizational set-ups. His experience covers sourcing across wide range of goods and services including agri commodities, food ingredients, packaging materials, contract manufacturing, professional services & marketing and sales services and has also led procurement transformation projects focusing on organizational capability, process excellence and controls. Sunil also recently held the role of a treasurer and board of director for Cocoa Association of Asia, a trade association based in Singapore representing businesses in cocoa value chain. Sunil holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai and a graduate in Electronics Engineering. He is an Indian national and currently resides in Singapore.
