Swee Yong Tan

Swee Yong is the Regional Head of Procurement at FLOW Digital Infrastructure, an investor, developer and operator in the key physical assets of the digital infrastructure ecosystem in Asia Pacific, supported by PAG. He is responsible for the end-to-end procurement processes of FLOW’s data center products and solutions; which span across requirements documents to sourcing of suppliers and delivery of equipment to site.

He is also responsible for the suppliers’ relationship management as well. Swee Yong is an accomplished Procurement Leader equipped with project management skills and experience with diverse project/program portfolios; including optimizing, transforming and building a procurement organization to manage procurement activities through Business Partnering, Category Strategies, Transaction Management and Operations, and Supplier Relationship Management. And with proven leadership in leveraging spend through category management, developing sound policies and processes, and managing efficient procurement operations.

Swee Yong is also an Advisory Board Member at Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON) Asia which aims at promoting Procurement as a professional function, grooming the next generation of Procurement Leaders and bringing awareness to the importance of making Procurement into a strategic asset of the Company for business sustainability. He is also a frequent speaker at procurement conferences and contributes to procurement publications.
