Vishrut Rana

Vishrut is the Asia-Pacific Economist at S&P Global Ratings, where he serves as a spokesperson on key macroeconomic issues for the Asia-Pacific region. He generates economic forecasts, furthers the team’s research on key topical economic issues, and drives the team’s macro view on the Asia’s emerging markets.

Prior to S&P Global, Vishrut was with the Centre for Research on the Economics of Ageing in Singapore as a Research Associate. Vishrut completed his Ph.D. in Economics from Singapore Management University, where his research focused on business cycles, credit, financial intermediation, and their interaction with the economy.
