Chin Ling Tan

Tan Chin Ling is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and holds the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification.

She has work experiences in the private, public accounting and government sectors and is currently the Head of Finance division at the National Gallery Singapore, a leading visual arts institution which oversees the world’s largest public collection of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art, where she provides leadership in business planning, procurement, governance and financial management of the company.

Chin Ling focuses on improving business processes through technology, increase effectiveness with robotic process automation (RPA), going digital and currently oversees the implementation of a new accounting system for the Gallery.

Prior to National Gallery Singapore, Chin Ling was with the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, where she was Head (Finance) overseeing the financial operations of the Headquarters’ operating budget.

Her prior stints in different industries includes medical healthcare with National University Health System (NUHS) where she oversees the financials for two charities, in arts education with Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, audit and accounting PricewaterhouseCoopers and an exciting journey with Cirque du Soleil.
