Carlo Joson

Carlo Joson is a senior executive and thought leader with broad experience in the fields of procurement, operations planning, project management and management of various categories both direct and indirect. As head of global category management (GCM) for information technology (IT), marketing and other services for Global Procurement of Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), he leads the creation and implementation of business-wide category strategies that deliver value to the organization in alignment with the JFC’s overall business strategy. These includes:

• Establishing, leading and developing the capability of the category management team

• Providing strategic input into category management framework and approaches

• Developing and project-managing the execution of category strategies

• Partnering with Global Procurement teams and executive teams of internal stakeholders

He is the subject matter expert of the category group and ensures stakeholders adhere to his strategic direction. He has an in-depth understanding of the supply market for each category and determine opportunities for cost reduction and supply/supplier enhancement.
