Valdimir Zhirnov

Vladimir Zhirnov, who began his career as a part-time sales rep while in college, serves currently as Sourcing and Procurement Regional Head at ESSILOR Int. based from Singapore. Previously in his career was leading transportation / freight strategy for Europe from Paris. Vladimir began his journey with Essilor in 2006 in Moscow Russia, where he built end to end supply chain for Russian entities from the greenfield. He is passionate by Essilor group mission to eradicate poor vision in 1 generation and contributes his time as a volunteer for Essilor Vision Foundation – the charity arm of the group. Vladimir holds a seat at the EssilorLuxottica employees shareholding fund supervisory board. A native of Saint-Petersburg, Russia, Vladimir earned a master’s degree in microelectronics engineering from Electro-Technical State University and a Master’s of business administration from Kingston University London.
